Drip. Drip. Drip.
Everything was silent, every cat held their breath. Even the usual stirring of the sleeping city was strangely soft and distant. All waited for the sprawled young tom to speak, to say something that might prove that life still stirred in his broken body. The Felidae had found him, the Evil. They had punished him for his rebelious thoughts, his attempt to be free, and he, though slashed and bleeding, was lucky to be alive. When marked by the Felidae, a cat rarely lived. This cat was one of these few, but like the others, there was little hope for his future. He was alive now, but that life was trickling from his open wounds. His courageous heart would soon die.
The small crowd merely watched him, fear in some eyes, anger in others. Pity stirred in their hard hearts, but none made a motion to assist the dying tom. Nothing they could do would save him from his fate. They stayed only to hear his parting words, parting words that might unveil the horrors of the Felidae.

Man Dens Mansions are as common as daisies in this wealthy residential part of town. Sights around here include vast, manicured lawns, elaborate fencing, and gardens brimming with elegant plant-life. Nice place for an ol' tom to take his she-cat for a stroll. Just watch out for crazed gardeners and hyperactive pooches.

Secret Room When the store owners closed the place up and left, they didn't realize that there was a loose board in the back and a hole just large enough for a cat to fit through. Now, what was once a large pet shop is now a gathering place for felines. Though the store is in a busy portion of the city, the front window is boarded and no humans can view the cats within. Territory Available
Cinema On the outer rim of the busiest part of the city there is a massive, modern building with a parking lot like a sea. Inside, twoleggers gather, stuffing their faces with exotic foods and viewing what they refer to as 'movies.' Few felines have interest in shifting pictures, but the food's a different story. The trouble is getting in. But remember, where there's a will, there's a way.

Rooftops Skyscrapers aren't much of an attraction for the feline race, but cats love to congregate on the rooftops of the smaller homes and offices. There, they can see for great distances and gaze at the few stars not covered in smog. But the cruel visit the rooftops as often as the good. One must always be alert; a member of the Felidae could be lurking nearby.

Outskirts
Black Alley It's a dirty place, the Black Alley, with overturned trashcans, old cardboard boxes and enough grim on the ground to blacken paws in moments. Cats from all gangs come here to fight or to be entertained while they munch moldy meals from the bins. It's the kinda place a mamma cat would warn her youngsters never to visit, but they, as soon as they were old enough to feel daring, would go to see. And many don't come back.

Grime Garden Broken furniture, flat tires, molding shoes; one can find just about anything imaginable in Grime Garden. Once an old Man dump, junk of all sorts has collected here over the years, but no twolegs visit now. The place belongs entirely to the felines of the city. Territory Available
Abandoned Warehouse A vast building on the edge of the city stands dark and seemingly deserted. The windows are broken or blackened, the doors boarded, and yet life still dwells within. Many rooms, protected from the elements, and places to hide brew a sense of security. For this reason, the Abandoned Warehouse is popular with nursing queens and elders.

Blood Road A narrow alley stretches the length of two lonely buildings. An old bus, windows cracked and door ajar sits ominously against a graffiti-coated wall. From above, dusty windows stare sightlessly down through clotheslines to the road below. And the road below, it so happens, is covered by a deep crimson substance that looks suspiciously like blood. Park
Wandering Path Throughout the park stretches a pleasant pathway that serves quite a tourist attraction during daylight hours. Positioned periodically along the trail are benches, trashcans, bubblers, and the like. Bold cats occasionally visit to sunbathe or snatch some food off unsuspectings guests.

Playground Man kits swarm the place in the day; climbing through multicolored tubes, flinging themselves off swinging seats, and even settling down with their parents on one of many picnic tables around the Playground perimeter to eat. When all is quiet, usually around dusk, felines patrol the area. Scraps of food are often discovered in abundance, and the toys are more cleverly used as protection from the wind and cold.
Silver Pond On those lucky nights when the moon pierces through the city smog, the pond turns an elegant shade of silver. The place is named for these nights, although merely a brackish duckpond under normal circumstances. Both cats and Man are common sights here.

Forest In a secluded section of the park, far from the Wandering Path, there lies an area of thick plantlife and treecover, home to cats and prey animals alike. A small clearing forms the heart of this natural landscape. It would be the perfect place for a feral gang to dwell. Claimed: Red Sky Moderator: Zydeco the Insane
Realm of the Gods Ah, the Realm of the Gods, a place that every mortal dreams of entering. But it is well known that such a hope is groundless. Only deities may rest their paws in this heavenly kingdom, to look down upon the comings and goings of the feline race in pride, amusement, fascination, or in some cases, shame.

Shadowlands Some claim they know where the base of the Felidae lies, but these are the dishonest, the foolish. There is no truth to their words. For the Felidae guard the secrets of their dwelling with greed and cleverness. Of course, occasional slips are inevitable, and though the perpetrators pay for their mistakes in blood, the damage has been done. Incidents like these are how the common population knows two things, two things alone. The base of the Felidae is heavily guarded and it is called the Shadowlands.
